Sheffield Wednesday fans have held up placards and chanted against owner Dejphon Chansiri in a protest outside the Thai Embassy in London today.

It follows months of controversy surrounding the Chairman and owner, with months of unpaid wages, safety issues at Hillsborough going unaddressed and a string of senior players leaving over the summer.

While the start to Wednesday's season hasn't been catastrophic, with Owls' youngsters putting in fighting performances in the League Cup, Wednesday still sit 23rd in the Championship.

A letter was handed to embassy staff today, as Wednesday fans called on the Thai government to pressure their absentee owner to speed up the process of selling.

A banner in Thai was also unveiled.

Chansiri has always insisted he is trying to sell off the club and talks continue with interested parties.
