Two teenagers in life-threatening condition after crash in Sheffield

Two teenagers are in a life-threatening condition after a crash in Sheffield last night.

Police say they were called just before 5pm to Manor Oaks Place after a car collided with a scooter which had 2 teenagers on-board.

A Police spokesperson said:

"Officers from our Roads Policing Group are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Sheffield last night (13 February 2023) that has left two teenagers in a life-threatening condition.

"Just before 5pm, officers were called to a report of a collision on Manor Oaks Place, at the junction with Outram Road, Sheffield, between a silver Volkswagen Golf and a black and red Piaggio scooter with two teenagers on-board.

"Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man, driving the scooter, and a 16-year-old boy were both taken to hospital where they remain in critical but stable condition.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who was driving in the area at the time is asked to get in touch. We are particularly keen to hear from those with dash-cam footage."
