A teenager is in a life threatening condition in hospital
An investigation is underway after a shooting in Sheffield.
Police were called to Page Hall in the early hours of this morning, a 19-year-old man is in hospital with life threatening injuries.
Page Hall Road is closed off while Police conduct their enquiries.
A Police statement said:
"We were called to reports of a firearms discharge on Page Hall Road, Sheffield at 12.38am this morning (Tuesday 12 December).
"Emergency services attended, and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance with life threatening injuries, where he remains at this time.
"Page Hall Road, between the junction of Firth Park Road and Barretta Street is currently closed while officers conduct their work. We are asking that people please avoid the area if possible.
"An investigation has been launched. If you have any information that could help officers with their investigation, please call 101 and quote incident number 19 of 12 December 2023."
