Teenager in life threatening condition after Oughtibridge stabbing
Detectives also believe an attempted robbery earlier in the day could be linked
A 19-year-old man is in a life threatening condition in hospital after a stabbing in Sheffield.
Police were called out to White Hart Lane in Oughtibridge by the ambulance service at 9:09pm on Sunday after getting reports of a serious assault.
A 19-year-old was apparently stabbed, receiving injuries to his abdomen, and is still in hospital in a life threatening condition.
Detectives also believe an attempted robbery on Knowles Avenue earlier in the day could be linked.
A scene is in place on both roads, and officers are questioning a 20-year-old man on suspicion of affray.
Anyone who may have witnessed either incident or has information or dashcam footage is being urged to come forward.
