Teenager in hospital after Sheffield stabbing

Police say they were called to Firth Park just after 5pm yesterday evening (26 March).

A teenager is in hospital after reports of a stabbing in Sheffield.

Police say they were called to Firth Park just after 5pm yesterday evening (26 March).

A 16-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds and is now in a stable condition.

A Police statement said:

"We were called at 5.11pm on Tuesday (26 March) to Hucklow Road in the Firth Park area of Sheffield following reports of a stabbing.

"A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with multiple suspected stab wounds and remains in a stable condition.

"A scene that was in place for a period of time while officers conducted their work has now been lifted.

"Anyone with information can contact police online or by calling 101. Please quote incident number 709 of 26 March 2024 when you get in touch."
