A teenager's been taken to hospital after being shot on a Sheffield estate.

Emergency services were called to Nodder Road in Woodthorpe late last night to reports a 17 year old had a gunshot wound.

He was taken to hospital where his injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.

It's the third shooting in the area since mid April and locals have been telling Hallam they don't feel safe - Tanya lives nearby:

"It's really scary. We've got kids and they play outside and you don't want your kids playing out round here any more - it's an absolute nightmare. It's ridiculous. This world has gone mad. It really has gone crazy. There's only so much the police can do."

Bankanina lives right next to the police corden:

"It's just everywhere - I think it's dangerous. You feel unsafe sometimes because it might happen to you or someone you know."
