Sheffield Tigers star Tai Woffinden back on bike just months after horror crash
The multiple-time speedway world champion was placed into a medically induced coma for 10 days after colliding with several other riders
Sheffield Tigers star Tai Woffinden has been back on a motorbike, just months after suffering an extensive list of injuries he suffered during a horror crash in Poland.
The multiple-time speedway world champion, from Scunthorpe, was placed into a medically induced coma for 10 days after colliding with several other riders while racing for Rzeszow on March 30.
In a video on social media, the 34 year old quipped "four months ago I was nearly dead... and he we are again."
Footage then shows him racing solo around a circuit in Poland.
Many had assumed the decorated rider had suffered a career ending injury earlier this year, however he has now teased a return to the track in 2026.
