Sheffield Wednesday fans are planning to head to capital later to 'voice their concerns' about the owner of the club.

A protest against Dejphon Chansiri is set to take place outside the Thai Embassy in London from 4pm this afternoon.

The Chair of the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters' Trust - Ian Bennett - is setting off from Hillsborough at 11am to be there:

"The idea of the protest is to make the hierarchy of the Thai people aware of what's happening at Hillsborough.

"We're proud, honest people - & we've got a guy who's killing a football club & a community up here.

"We've got some protest banners translated into Thai; we've got a digital van going down there to broadcast around the area.

"We're hoping it'll be a really visual protest. A letter has been sent to the Thai Embassy, so they're aware it's happening.

"We're all meeting outside the Sheffield Wednesday ground - we have some transport booked at 11am, and we're hoping to get to the Thai Embassy for around 2/2.30pm.

"The protest is due to go ahead from 4-5pm.

"This will apply more pressure on the owner at Hillsborough.

"We're starving him of cash, and it's beginning to tell.

"We hope it'll keep the pressure up on him and force Chansiri to sell.

"We can't carry on as we are - people who have stayed loyal to Chansiri are being treated with disdain, so we need him out of the club so that we can move forward."

Dejphon Chansiri has said he is trying to sell the Championship club.

So far this year - staff haven't been paid on time, there's been issues with the North Stand, & several transfer embargoes at S6.
