Suspected WW11 Shells found at Don Valley
Police say two suspected World War Two shells have been found on a building site in Sheffield.
Two suspected world war two shells have been found at a building site in Sheffield near to where Don Valley stadium was. Specialist officers have been called in to remove the devices. Police were called out at around 1pm and have told Hallam they don't think there's any risk to the public.
A cordon is in place and Worksop Road is closed at the junction of Britnall Street. Tram services near to the Motorpoint arena and Meadowhall have been suspended as a "precautionary measure".
