Army explosives experts have been called in, after a suspected World War II bomb was uncovered in Rotherham.

The discovery was made in the area of Stonerow Way, between the Parkgate shopping centre and the train tracks, at around 2pm this afternoon.

A 100 metre cordon is currently in place around the scene, with access roads to the retail park shut.

Tram services are currently not calling at Parkgate, although shops remain open.
