More help for people with eating disorders in South Yorkshire is being made available across the region after a rise in the number of people needing support.
South Yorkshire Eating Disorders Association (SYEDA), has expanded its services outside of Sheffield into Rotherham and Barnsley.
Anna Tummon, the charity's education and outreach officer said:
"We go into schools and colleges and do work on self-esteem and positive body image with the younger pupils.
"We've done that at various schools across Rotherham and Barnsley. People in those areas can also access one-to-one support like counselling and Cognative Behavioural Therapy, so they can actually come and see a proper clinical professional."
Sophie Clarke,22, was diagnosed with anorexia when she was 18 years old:
"I started to realise I had a difficult relationship with food, I realised there was something not quite right and I was really struggling live a normal life.
"I eventually decided to go to the doctors, and it was only then when they said to me you have anorexia that I really realised quite how serious the situation was."
Events have been organised as part of Eating Disorders Awareness Week, including a live music night at the Notty House pub on February 25th where Hunstman will perform.
