Sheffield United fan adamant £850 flights 'will be worth every penny' if the Blades win at Wembley
Hal Stewart is flying into the UK today from Cyprus for the play-off final
A Sheffield United fan - who's flying in from Cyprus for the play-off final - says the expense will be worth it if the Blades win.
Tomorrow - the Blades take on Sunderland at Wembley for a place in next season's Premier League.
Hal Stewart - who co-hosts the Sheff United Way Youtube channel - lands in the UK today - before flying back to Cyprus on Sunday:
"I'm flying into Heathrow, and it makes me feel sick to say it, but the return flights have cost me £852.
"It is a long way to come; I don't like flying; but it is the Blades, and it's the biggest game in a long time.
"It's probably one of our best opportunities in a one-off match to do something truly memorable in my lifetime.
"You don't want to be that fan who went to all the other big games in the play-offs where we blew it and not be there when we finally do it.
"You'd kick yourself forever.
"This will be a tremendous win if we do it - all the Blades at Wembley, together.
"It'd be one of the most memorable days of our lives.
"This is a final at Wembley - the home of football - and it could be Sheffield United who go up in the best way possible.
"However, there's no worse way to lose than in the play-offs.
"I'm flying back very, very early on Sunday morning.
"Hopefully, I'll have a very sore head from celebrating."
The Championship play-off final kicks off tomorrow from 3pm.
