Steel City Derby: Police confirm road closures and arrangements for fans ahead of big day
The additional security measures follow disorder both before and after last year's Sheffield Derby.
South Yorkshire Police have been setting out details of the security arrangements around Hillsborough for Sunday, the day of the Steel City Derby.
Wednesday will be out for revenge after the reverse fixture last year at Bramall Lane ended 1 - 0 to Blades.
Police are urging fans to plan their journeys well in advance and have unveiled a list of road closures set to be in place on the morning of the game.
From 10:30am Leppings Lane and Penistone Road will be closed off, along with the three side streets joining the two: Fielding Road, Bickerton Road and Vere Road.
Blades fans are also being advised they will be kept in the stands after the end of the match as the stadium clears of home fans.
United supporters will be 'kept updated' as to when they can exit the stadium on the day.
