The South Yorkshire derby ended with bragging rights to Rovers. Doncaster beating Barnsley 1-nil at the Keepmoat - the goal from sub Harry Forrester. Elsewhere in League One there was defeat for Sheffield United on the road at MK Dons - the Blades blunted 1-nil. And it was a disappointing day in the Championship too: Rotherham beaten 2-nil at home by Bournemouth. And Sheffield Wednesday losing 2-1 at Hillsborough to Bolton Wanderers.
