There’s to be a full investigation into trouble at yesterday’s Rotherham United game which has left two stewards and several police officers with minor injuries. Fans from both sides were involved in disturbances inside and outside the ground and South Yorkshire Police say they'll be looking at CCTV footage to find who was responsible. Away from the trouble, on the pitch it was a successful day for Rotherham United, they beat Milwall 2-1 in the Championship. Kari Arnason and Danny Ward scored. Elsewhere Sheffield Wednesday were 2-nil winners over Middlesbrough, they’ve now done the double over the Yorkshire rivals. Atdhe Nuhiu scored a penalty and Will Keane netted too for the Owls. League One saw a win for new Barnsley boss Lee Johnson at Gillingham, George Waring scoring for the Tykes in their 1-nil victory. Doncaster were 2-nil winners at home to Colchester, goals from Enda Stevens and a Nathan Tyson penalty see them back in the play off spots. And Sheffield United had a 1-all draw at Crawley, Marc McNulty coming off the bench to score a penalty that saw the Blades rescue a point.
