It's not just coronavirus that's keeping us indoors today - as snow causes disruption across South Yorkshire.

More than 50 schools are closed across Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster.

Public transport's having a hard time - lots of bus services are suspended, the Blue and Purple route of the Supertram are out of action, with delays on the Yellow route.

Police say roads are blocked in Chapeltown and Meersbrook in Sheffield - and they're warning they're in a bad conditions around Stocksbridge.

Meanwhile, Low Road in Conisbrough has also been impacted, which has disrupted travel in Denaby, Mexborough and Swinton.

If you have to head out today, you're being urged to plan your journey.

Trains are cancelled between Leeds and Doncaster until at least 2pm because of a failure in the electric line.

And services between Sheffield and Manchester Picadilly are also off because of flooding on the line - disruption's expected until 3pm.
