An investigation is underway after claims that two football teams played at the weekend after the Queen died - despite being told not to.

The Sheffield and District Fair Play League are looking into it and - in a statement - have called the action "disrespectful and despicable behaviour".

It's believed they're discussing the matter with the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA.

Football was postponed last weekend out of respect for the Queen, even though some other sports like horse racing, rugby and cricket were allowed to continue.
