Disruption across South Yorkshire as snow hits again
Roads, public transport and schools are affected by the wintry weather
Last updated 2nd Feb 2021
Snow is causing disruption once again - just weeks on from the last flurry that caused South Yorkshire to come to a standstill.
A number of schools are closed across Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield.
Roads and public transport are badly affected too.
Sheffield Supertram services are severely delayed, while all First bus routes in Sheffield are mostly cancelled.
We're being urged only to travel if we really need to, as England remains in national lockdown.
Coronavirus jabs are still going ahead, despite the weather.
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals say pre-booked vaccine appointments will still be taking place at Sheffield Arena, but you should not put yourself at risk getting there.
An amber warning for snow and ice has been issued by the Met Office, and will remain in place until 1pm. A yellow warning is in force until midnight.
