Investigation underway after 2 men found with gunshot wounds in Sheffield

An investigation is underway after 2 men were found with gunshot wounds in Sheffield.

Police say they were called to Batemoor last night, with one of the victims left with life-altering injuries.

No arrests have yet been made.

A police spokesperson said:

"Officers were called at about 7pm yesterday (Friday 15 July) to reports that a man had been shot on White Thorns Drive in Batemoor, Sheffield.

"Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended the scene and found two victims, aged 36 and 48, injured with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. One of the men is believed to have received injuries which are life-altering, but not life-threatening.

"No arrests have yet been made but enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the reported incident is asked to contact us to help us build a complete picture of what happened.
