Fire crews have been tackling flames they think were deliberately set inside Sheffield's iconic Shiregreen Working Men's club.

The venue is best know for featuring in the film The Full Monty, but has been closed since 2018 and now lies derelict.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called to the scene on Shiregreen Lane at 7:20pm last night.

Nobody was injured and the flames were out by 10:30pm.

It's the latest in a series of fires at the former club, which is facing an uncertain future.
