A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after crash on Stradbroke Road

Police are appealing for information following a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a double-decker bus in Sheffield.

Officers were called to Stradbroke Road at 4.33pm on Saturday, January 3.

It is believed the motorcyclist continued travelling on Stradbroke Road after the initial collision, before hitting a fence post near the junction with Bishop Hill.

A 29-year-old man, thought to be riding the motorbike, was taken to hospital and remains there in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

The bus driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperating with police.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collisions, or those with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from before or after the incident, to come forward.
