Police are appealing for information after a woman had threats and racial abuse shouted at her in Sheffield last month.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:15pm on January 18 on Matilda street, when a taxi driver allegedly threatened a woman, with a passenger reportedly shouted racist abuse.

Authorities say they are 'actively investigating' the case and have released a CCTV image of a man believed to have information that could assist with the enquiry.

South Yorkshire Police are urging anyone with information to contact them on 101.
