A man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash on a major road in Sheffield
A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash on Sheffield Parkway, which closed the route for a number of hours on Friday (December 01).
The 38-year-old was driving a BMW which collided with a Blue Mazda on the duel carriageway, near the junction for Parkway Market.
The driver of the Mazda - a 36-year-old woman - was taken to hospital with minor injuries, while a passenger in the car who is in her 60s is being treated for serious injuries.
A two-year-old boy, who was also in the Mazda, was taken to Sheffield Children's Hospital with minor injuries to his lip.
Police are investigating the crash, which happened at around 11:53GMT, and want to speak to any witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage.
