Sheffield man dies after collision at car meet up
It happened near Scunthorpe on Saturday
Humberside Police say a 23-year-old man, who was struck by a car at a car meet in Flixborough on Saturday 24 September, has died of his injuries.
Conor Richards from Sheffield was taken to hospital following the collision and died in hospital this morning.
His family have requested that they are left to grieve in peace and come to terms with the tragic circumstances of his death.
Detectives say one other person who was involved in the collision remains in hospital in a stable condition, others who were taken to hospital have now been discharged.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation.
