Sheffield City Council is considering adding more names to the Sheffield Legends walk of fame outside the Town Hall.

Big names like Sean Bean, Jessica Ennis and Gordon Banks have already been honoured with a gold star.

The first few plaques were installed in 2006.

Now, Sheffield City Council is suggesting opening a six week nomination process later in the year to find new names with a strong connection to the city to add.

Cllr Tom Hunt, Leader of Sheffield City Council, said:

“Sheffield is a city of makers, creators and hard workers and we are bursting with talent. The Sheffield Legends relaunch is about celebrating success and honouring the great achievements from people in our city.

"Whether in sport, the arts, industry, or public service, this is about recognising those people who inspire us and the world. We want to hear from the public about which legends should be recognised and join our walk of fame."
