Seven year old girl hurt in Doncaster crash
Youngster critically injured after incident on Friday
A girl aged 7 is critically ill in hospital after a crash on Friday evening (9th June) in Doncaster.
Police were called to East Avenue in the city around 5.15pm to reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The youngster was taken to Sheffield Children's Hospital for treatment, where she remains.
The driver of the car, a Fiat Punto, remained at the scene and is helping South Yorkshire Police with their investigation.
As part of that officers are keen to hear from any witnesses and anyone who might have dashcam footage of what happened.
