Selection box extravaganza in Barnsley and Rotherham
Fire protection specialists The Firehouse Group are causing a selection box frenzy for this years Mission Christmas appeal.
Chris Wall, who heads up The Firehouse Group has done similar campaigns for several years collecting thousands of selection boxes used as stocking fillers as part of this years campaign.
With local poverty seeing a 6% increase following the pandemic, Chris and his team have gone the extra mile this year to try help break their record of the most selection boxes collected.
Schools in Barnsley have been invited to take part in an incentive where the school that collects the most selection boxes throughout November will be awarded £1,000 to spend on school projects - the prize personally funded by Chris.

Following the competition, The Firehouse Group will be present at the Rotherham United v Burton Albion match at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday December 11th from 12pm-3pm, where an expected bumper gate will have the opportunity to donate selection boxes en route to watch the high-flying Millers.
