Rotherham United's away tie with Bentford tomorrow's been postponed after a number of positive Covid-19 tests in the first team.

The club says it's consulted with EFL doctors and Brentford and has been advised not to go ahead with the fixture.

An ELF statement read:

"The Club informed the EFL that they would be unable to fulfil the fixture following recent positive COVID-19 tests and the requirement for players and staff to self-isolate as per EFL and Government guidance in order to mitigate against the risk of further infection.

"The circumstances surrounding the postponement will now be the subject of an investigation in accordance with EFL Regulations."

The Millers' training ground in Roundwood will also be closed in an attempt to control the Covid outbreak.

It's hoped Tuesday's match against Luton Town will still go ahead as planned.

The Brentford fixture will be rearranged to Tuesday 27th April.

Rotherham are currently third bottom in the Championship and beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 in the South Yorkshire derby on Wednesday.
