Patrols stepped up after shots fired at car in Rotherham street

Police are stepping up patrols in a part of Rotherham after shots were fired towards a car earlier today.
Officers were called to Pitt Street at 1:58pm, finding evidence consistent with a fun being fired.
No injuries have been reported and a scene remains in place.
South Yorkshire Police say they'll have a 'high visibility' presence in the area over the coming days.
