Three more men charged over Rotherham rioting

A total of 92 people have now been accused of involvement in mass disorder outside a Manvers hotel.

Three more men have been charged over the rioting outside of a Rotherham hotel last year, bringing the total up to 92.

South Yorkshire Police say a total of 80 people have now been sentenced, after clashes between crowds and officers outside the Holiday Inn Express in Manvers last summer.

Philip Wood, 22, of Milton Street, Bootle, Sefton, is charged with violent disorder. He will appear before Sheffield Crown Court on January 27.

Paul Edwards, 29, of Rotherham Road, Barnsley, is charged with violent disorder. He will appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on February 10.

Darren Ward, 54, of Norville Crescent, Darfield, Barnsley, is charged with violent disorder. He will appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on March 3.
