Rotherham drug dealer jailed for four years
It's after Class A and Class B drugs were found stored inside his home
A Rotherham man has been jailed for four years after large amount of drugs were found inside of his home.
24 year old Kyle Lewis-Rudge was arrested on June 11 after a police search found large quantities of Class A and B drugs being stored in jars in his kitchen.
Approximately £800 worth of cannabis was discovered, along with between £500 to £1000 worth of cocaine.
Despite claiming to only be a drug user and not a dealer, Lewis-Rudge admitted to to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug at Sheffield Crown Court.
The 24 year old, of Lordens Hill, Dinnington, was sentenced on Tuesday (December 10).
DC Henwood, the officer in charge of the case for South Yorkshire Police, said:
“Drugs and those who supply them are a blight on our communities. They cause premature death and perpetuate the commission of other crime types.
“I am pleased that another drug dealer is off the streets, and I hope that this result sends a clear message to anyone else who thinks they are above the law that they will be caught and brought to justice.
“If you suspect drug dealing is happening near where you live, report it to us. Your information could lead to a harmful offender like Lewis-Rudge being taken off the streets.”
