£120,000 worth of cannabis seized during raid in Rotherham
A 23 year old man has been questioned on suspicion of production of a Class B drug.
A man has been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Whiston, Rotherham, last month.
Police carried out a raid on Cow Rakes Lane on March 17 after a tip off from members of the local community.
During the search 128 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of around £120,000, were located across four different rooms inside the property.
All have been seized and destroyed.

Inspector John Crapper, of South Yorkshire Police, said:
“This warrant is part of Operation Grow which is the ongoing work to tackle cannabis grows in Rotherham.
“This warrant was a result of information shared by you – our local communities. If you think something isn’t right and a property or person is involved in criminal activity, please report it to us.
“These reports help us paint a better intelligence picture which aids our commitment to tackle organised criminality – which is often linked to cannabis cultivations.
“Remember to look out for the signs that a property is potentially being used for illegal activity.”
