Kenny Jackett has become Rotherham's fifth manager in the last 14 months. The 54-year-old takes the reins at the New York Stadium following the sacking of Alan Stubbs on Wednesday and he is tasked with ensuring the Millers' Sky Bet Championship status. That will be no mean feat as he inherits a side already six points adrift of safety and one that have lost their last six games. The club confirmed on Friday morning that Jackett has been appointed on a three-year contract.

The Millers made Alan Stubbs their shortest serving manager in the club's history on Wednesday when they fired him after a run of six successive defeats.
