Police name Doncaster teenager killed in Denaby Main

A Doncaster teenager who was murdered in Denaby Main has been named as Lewis Guest.

Lewis, 18, was taken to hospital on Wednesday 8 March after emergency services were called to flats just off Wadworth Street at about 2.30pm following reports of an assault.

He was sadly pronounced dead shortly afterwards. A post-mortem examination found he died from a stab wound.

His family have released a picture of him and a short statement:

“Lewis’ family are shocked and devastated by his death. They wish to thank all those people who have taken the time to leave their kind thoughts of Lewis on social media.”

Megan Sambrook, 18, of Wadworth Street, Denaby Main, has been charged with murder in connection with his death.

Forensics were carrying out investigations at the scene following the incident
