Police investigating reported stabbing after teenager injured at Meadowhall

Police are investigating a reported stabbing outside the Meadowhall Shopping Centre.

A 16-year-old boy was reportedly assaulted around 7.20pm near to the taxi rank, in the car park near

The boy has been taken to hospital with suspected stab injuries to his leg.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

There is an increased police presence around Meadowhall as officers gather information to ascertain the circumstances of the incident this evening.

Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 809 of 12 November 2018.
