Police appeal following death on Dearne Valley Parkway

Police investigating the death of a man on the Dearne Valley Parkway want to hear from anyone who saw a grey Toyota pickup in the area.

The man was found fatally injured at around 17:55GMT on Thursday 09 November, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are now asking anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, particularly from the Barnsley Road area, to come forward.

South Yorkshire Police are looking to speak to anyone who saw a grey Toyota Hilux travelling in the area at the time.

The man has been formally identified and his family have been told, but his name has not been released to the public.
