Police find van in search for missing Sheffield man

South Yorkshire Police say they've located a van thought to have driven by missing 26 year old Ben Whittington.

Concerns are growing for Ben, who has not been seen since 6am yesterday morning in Welwyn Road in Sheffield.

A Volkswagen Transporter has been discovered close to the Ladybower Reservoir.

Officers are urging members of the public to be on the lookout for Ben in the Peak District today.

He is described as white and around 5ft 8 ins tall with light blonde hair.

Its believed he is wearing a green hoody with black arms that says ‘Snickers’ across the front, grey and black work trousers, a black gilet and white Nike trainers.
