Petition against closure of Doncaster Sheffield Airport going to parliament

Workers from Doncaster Sheffield Airport are heading down to Parliament today to hand in a petition in a bid to save the site.

Owners the Peel Group announced they were closing it and will be winding down operations from the end of the month.

Shadow Secretary for Transport, Sheffield Heeley MP Louise Haigh will meet the group before handing in the petition.
