Oliver Coppard re-elected as South Yorkshire's Metro Mayor
The Labour candidate was first elected in the position two years ago

Labour's Oliver Coppard has been re-elected as South Yorkshire's Metro Mayor - and will now serve a four-year term until May 2028.
He originally succeeded Dan Jarvis in the position a couple of years ago in May 2022.
Voters across Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, & Barnsley went to the polls on Thursday 2nd May.
The Labour candidate was re-elected ahead of David Bettney from the Social Democratic Party, Douglas Johnson of the Green Party, Hannah Kitching from the Liberal Democrats, and Nick Allen of the Conservative party.
The Mayor will carry out the duties of the police and crime commissioner, as well as having the responsibility of looking after transport, infrastructure and regeneration.
An election's taken place due to the merging functions of the Police & Crime Commissioner and the Mayor.
Oliver Coppard won the election by securing over half of the votes:
Oliver Coppard (Lab) 138,611 (50.86%)
Nick Allen (C) 44,945 (16.49%)
Douglas Johnson (Green) 37,142 (13.63%)
Hannah Kitching (LD) 31,002 (11.38%)
David Bettney (Soc Dem) 20,835 (7.64%)
Electorate 999,314; Turnout 272,535 (27.27%)
