"Nobody Else" Sought In Connection With Barnsley Deaths
Officers investigating the death of a man and woman in Brierley, Barnsley, have confirmed that nobody else is being sought in connection with the incident. Emergency services were called to a property in Beech Close, Brierley, at around 12.40pm on Saturday following reports that the bodies of a man and a woman had been found inside. A forensic post mortem examination has concluded that the 67-year-old man and 57-year-old woman died from stab wounds. Officers have also confirmed that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths. Relatives are receiving support from specialist officers. Officers are in liaison with the coroner.
