Murder investigation underway in Sheffield after mans death
Police were called to Leighton Road yesterday afternoon.
An investigation is underway after the death of a man in Sheffield.
Police say they were called to Leighton Road yesterday afternoon, there they found the man.
A 46 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in Police custody.
A Police Statement said:
"Enquires are underway after officers located the body of a man in Sheffield today (Monday 4 December).
"We were called to reports of concern for the safety of a man in Leighton Road at 2.38pm. Sadly, he was deceased when our officers arrived. His family has been notified.
"An investigation has now been launched as we work to ascertain the exact circumstances which led to the man’s death.
"A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at this time."
