Murder enquiry launched after man's death in Sheffield

49-year-old was found dead on Friday

A murder investigation's been launched by South Yorkshire Police after the death of a 49 year old man at Broomhall in Sheffield.

Officers were called a flat at Gell Street at 5am on Friday (15th May) to reports that a man was unresponsive - paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination's due to take place on Saturday to work out exactly how the man died.

A 51 year old man who was at the flat on Friday morning has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
