Rotherham United's new manager has been official unveiled at the New Yorkshire Stadium
Rotherham United's new manager has been officially unveiled and says he'll relish being the underdog as he starts his bid to keep them in the Championship.
Former Millers player and Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock's the club's new first team manager.
The 67 year old's agreed a deal until the end of the season replacing Neil Redfearn who was sacked on Monday.
Warnock's now onto his 14th different club during a 36-year managerial career.
** This is the 14th time I've retired and my 15th comeback,'' joked Warnock at his first Millers press conference, ahead of Saturday's game against Birmingham.
He added:
** It's a difficult task, but it's the situation I like...We're the underdog again. I want to put something back into the game. There were probably one or two easier jobs but it's a challenging and exciting prospect.''
Rotherham are currently in the relegation zone and have only one won of their last eight games.
Warnock will take charge for the first time as Rotherham United lock horns with Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship.
