Man found dead in Doncaster named by police
A 43-year-old man found dead at a house in Balby has been named as Christopher Cumpsty.
A 43-year-old man found dead at a house in Balby, Doncaster last week has been named by police as Christopher Cumpsty.
Christopher’s body was discovered at around 4.30am on Friday 11 March at his home on Cross Street.
Over the weekend, a 41-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder. She has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Victoria Short, leading the investigation, said: “We have now formally identified Christopher Cumpsty and would like to issue a fresh appeal for information or any witnesses.
“The post mortem revealed he died from multiple injuries and we need your help to identify those responsible for this crime.
“As part of our enquiries, we are keen to trace Christopher’s last known movements in the week or so leading up to his death.
