Man who drowned at Lakeside in Doncaster named by police

A man who drowned at Lakeside in Docaster has been named as Jason Walker, known to his family and friends as Jay.

The 20-year-old died after getting into trouble in the water, on one of the hottest days of the year.

He'd been visiting with friends when it happened, and his body was recovered later that night.

Jay's mum has posted a tribute on Facebook, which read: 'I lost my son, Jay Walker, today at Lakeside. Sorry Jay, going to miss you lots. RIP my sweetheart, love you lots. RIP my son, you was taken too soon love.'

His family have confirmed a tribute to Jay will be held on August 20, a week on from his death.
