Man dies in Mexborough house fire
An investigation is underway
A man has died in a house fire Mexborough.
Emergency services - including three fire engines - were called to Chaucer Road just before 7.30pm on Wednesday night.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say the blaze was out by 8.15pm but, due to the size of the fire, officers were remained at the scene until midnight.
An multi-agency investigation is underway into the cause and to determine the circumstances around his death.
