Man charged following 'armed fight' in Sheffield city centre

Police have charged an 18-year-old man after armed officers were called to a fight in Sheffield city centre on Friday afternoon (22nd December).
The man is charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to injure and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court on Boxing Day.
Police were called to Bank Street at 2.10pm on Friday, with the 18-year-old arrested at the scene. No one was seriously injured.
The force says officers are still keen to speak to two other men about their involvement in the incident and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.
