Man charged after gun fired in Rotherham
A 43 year old woman has also been released under investigation
A man has been charged after reports of a gun being fired in Rotherham yesterday.
Police were called to Dawson Avenue in Rawmarsh at around 6:18pm.
Nobody was injured during the alleged firearms discharge.
Craig Berridge, 44, of Grange Road, Rotherham, has been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
He is also accused of possessing a knife in a public place.
Berridge has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
A 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm. She has been released on bail.
