A 32 year old man from Birmingham has admitted causing the death of Sheffield teenager Jasmyn Chan by dangerous driving. Naseeb Ellahi has been appearing before Sheffield Crown Court where he admitted four of the charges he was facing.

14 year old Jasmyn was knocked down by a car on Normanton Hill last May and later died of her injuries. She'd tried to push her friend out of the way of the car - she was left seriously injured in the collision. Today 32 year old Naseeb Ellahi has pleaded guilty to causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving, guilty to failing to stop at the scene and guilty to failing to report an incident. He'll appear before Sheffield Crown Court for sentencing at the end of the month.
