Louie Hinchliffe qualifies for Olympics

The Sheffield runner won a meet yesterday to secure his place.

Louie Hinchliffe earned his first UK men’s 100m title and qualified for the Olympics in the process.

The 21-year-old Sheffield athlete clocked 10.18 in wet conditions at Manchester Regional Arena.

Hinchliffe was cheered on by his coach and nine-time Olympic gold medallist Carl Lewis.
